Hold on....wait for it...SOLE SOCIETY HAS SIZE 12'S!!!

Yes hunni. You read that all the way right. Sole Society now has some amazing styles in sizes up to 12 with more on the way.

I received my first pair last week and I absolutely LOVE them. They are the Ashton, in pale almond, in size 12. They fit perfectly (true to size) and were comfortable on the first wear. Do I need to mention that they are HOT? I mean just look at them. Buckles, straps and texture...oh my!

They are constructed very well and the buckles are adjustable but once you adjust them, there will be no need to buckle them again because there is a full zipper in the back that makes them easy to put on.

I am also obsessed with these Print Jersey Pants from Long Tall Sally. They are SO comfy (you feel like you are wearing pajamas without the embarrassment of wearing pajamas) and add a little punch to your casual wear. That, combined with the awesome length, makes them a win-win in my humble opinion.

13 Wishes

This is the worst! You go on a shoe site and see some killer shoes. You click your shoe size to narrow down the results and BAM nothing but fugly shoes. So disheartening! For example, I went to a site put in size 13 and an entire page of these in different colors popped up:

This prompted me to search high and low for pretty sandals up to size 13 because NOBODY should subject their feet to this hot mess.  Enjoy (big smile:)!

Cut It Out

There is nothing more I hate then foot sweat (well maybe a couple of things but you get my point). GROSS.  We have all been there.  You have a cute pair of pumps on with no ventilation and before you know it you are sliding around like a baseball player into home base. Again, GROSS. 

BUT this season's trends bring a solution to the problem...dun dun na na...CUTOUTS! Cutouts are hot right now and come with built in air conditioning (perfect for spring and summer heat).  Designers can't keep the trend on the shelves! 

Now, it's not something I would go crazy about.  You don't want your entire shoe collection 'cut out' however a couple of statement pairs are a must.

Happy Monday

Footwear can save a terrible day.  For example, this morning I woke up and couldn't believe it was already Monday.  I was legitimately mad that I had to get out of bed, get ready and drag myself to the office.  I thought about all of the things I could be doing (mainly sleep) and was extremely pissed at the world for dealing me the "you have to be responsible and go to work" card. 

But then...an amazing excited feeling came over me and I jumped up out of bed...ran to the closet (actually I just opened it because I have a small apartment and am basically in my closet when I get out of bed) and found the ONLY thing that could turn my frown upside-down...a brand spankin new pair of shoes! Da da na na! I was up and out of the apartment as fast as I could shower, dress and slip the shoes on.

Moral of the story: save your new shoes for Monday's.  They are a bright spot in a terribly dark day.

Let Them Know NeNe!

As you all know I am 6'6" and love to rock a high heel.  It is my firm belief that heels give you that extra PUMP (no pun intended:) of confidence.  I personally rock a heel because flats just aren't my thing.  I am not knocking people who wear them, but for me, flats live up to their title...flat:( 

With this said, I was juiced this morning when I turned on my television and Ms. NeNe Leakes was on the today show professing the same love for a sexy heel.  You have to watch this video!  I felt like I was in church while I was watching it!  Every thing she said made me hoop and holler.  When she said "If I was 6'5" I would still wear a 6" heel," I did a lap around my apartment! And then...the thing that really sent me into a state of sheer joy...wait for it...SHE IS STARTING A LINE OF SHOES SIZE 9 - 13!  I CAN'T WAIT!  You know they are going to be fierce because NeNe wouldn't put anything out that was just "OK."  It's not in her DNA.
