BLACK FOR THE FIRST TIME

While I love vibrant hues, black is definitely my favorite color. You can wear it with anything, it instantly slims and it's beautifully timeless. One of my rules is; when in doubt wear black. You will definitely see it a lot on me this fall and winter.

Cold Coat

I felt like I stepped inside a freezer today when I left my house.  I have been trying to fight the fact that it's getting colder for weeks but now I think it's time to pull those winter clothes out of the back of the closet.  Better yet, it's time to put some NEW winter clothes IN my closet.  Awwww yes, winter clothes shopping!  I am pumped.  Of course, I have already snuck some key pieces in but the bulk of my shopping is still ahead of me.  I have been combing the sites and found this amazing coat from Long Tall Sally.  It has a retro feel with a modern twist.  It's a classic black coat with small details (like the cute little ruffles:) that set it apart from the rest.  I defintely secured one for myself and will be wearing it soon!
