There is always that moment when you see something in fashion that you want but can never find in tall.

SUPER annoying!

For me, a shirt with thumb holes was one of those I will never find it items.  Every single one I tried on were so short that I had to permanently bend my arm to keep my thumb in the hole.  That's not cute.

Method Boutique to the rescue!  They have this Kristy Cardigan with amazingly long arms.  Not only does it give the thumb detail, it's also long enough in the back so you can wear it with pretty much anything.

I paired it with one of my fav pair of ankle boots and my chunky cowl that you can wear 3 ways!  How would you rock the Kristy?

Dinner parties are always fun.  Give me food, great people and food (I meant to type it twice) and you have one very happy tall girl.

One thing I always struggle with is, do I dress up or down?  When I have an amazing meal I usually like to wear anything that will allow me to have a food bump and dressing up usually isn't conducive to that state.  So when I was invited to a 'classy' dinner soiree, I had to find an ensemble that allowed me to eat like a pig while still looking like a million bucks (actually we do trillion).

Enter the very cute and very accommodating peplum top from Long Tall Sally paired with the LTS leather skirt.  Super appropriate for the occasion with appropriate coverage for any damaged caused by the meal.

I polished the look off with a statement neck piece from the Collage Clothing Lounge, a cute little clutch from Vintage by the Pound and literally the most comfortable, chic pumps I have ever worn from Barefoot Tess.  Love, love and love.

Mission accomplished.  What is your fashion plan of attack for a dinner party?

We have had some absolutely B-E-A-utiful days in The Bay lately.  Super sunny and clear but still a bit chilly.  I went into San Fran with some friends to enjoy the amazing rays but didn't want a bulky coat to hold me hostage all day.

Voila!

Enter the cable poncho from Long Tall Sally.

This poncho is the definition of ComfyChic (yes, I made it one word).  Honestly, I got SO many complements and all I did was throw it on.

Underneath I am rocking 2 basics I think every tall girl should have in her closet; 1) a pair of fab black leggings and 2) a basic long sleeved tee.  They both are versatile and they both will be worn over and over again.  I really like the Method Boutique leggings because they come in a 38" inseam and as you can see the Height Goddess tee has super long sleeves and is long in the body as well.  I love it so much, I have it in black too.

Of course I have to give a special shoutout to the boots.  These are some of my favs from Barefoot Tess.  Comfy, classy and come in sizes 11-15...need I say more?

What do you rock on your ComfyChic days?
