Who doesn't love a little black dress!? Like nobody...ever. They are the perfect little throw on to create a classic moment that is always memorable.

This LBD is no different. I was a little suspect at first because I like my dresses to have some shape to them but after I put the dress on, I felt like a saucy princess. The flow is perfect and it's tre sexy without being overt (which is something I personally believe every woman should try to do on a daily basis).

This swing dress is another piece from the ASOS Tall Line that I love and is the perfect example of a short dress from a tall line that is just the right short length. No booty cheeks allowed.

I also LOVE these booties from Alloy Apparel. Their tall line carries shoes up to size 11 but a little birdie told me that they will be carrying some shoes in sizes above 11 soon and you know I will let you know as soon as they drop. I can't wait and have been practicing how to order quickly on the site so I don't miss out...it's so serious:)

According to good ol' Merriam-Webster, the definition of confidence is a feeling or belief that you can do something well or succeed at something. While it hasn't always been, my confidence in succeeding at being ME is very high. I am proud of my height, thankful for all of the unique gifts that God has given me and strive to celebrate the one-and-only me that that is on this earth every single day. So when I saw this amazing shirt from Forever 21 that I felt celebrated my high level of height, I purchased it without even thinking about it.

Now, some would call wearing a shirt that says you're not even on my level a bit cocky. So I decided to look that definition up too and here is what MW had to say: having or showing confidence in a way that is annoying to other people.

I found this definition to be very interesting. So I am cocky if someone is annoyed by my display of confidence? Well then, I guess you are just going to have to call me cocky then because I don't plan on ever changing the way I let my confidence shine for anyone's annoyance of it. We were built by God to be exactly the way that we are. Every single attribute was selected specifically for us to achieve and succeed in our purpose. So if you want to be annoyed by the confidence I convey from the gifts that I have been given, give me any label that you want.

Remember, nobody and I mean NOBODY is on your level. We all have our own, exclusive level, that is untouchable. Each one of us was specifically made to achieve something that no one else can. Embrace your irreplaceable self, foster the fact that you can succeed in anything that you do and walk tall with your cocky self.

#TallPrivilege

Listen. I completely understand that there are challenges when it comes to being tall. I talk about them myself from time to time but I am completely tired of people constantly highlighting them like our problems are the only thing to talk about when it comes to a tall woman's height. You see article after article and hashtag after hashtag about tall girl problems. I read 4 this morning and I wasn't even searching for them!

Just stop it already.

While I think it's important to tell our stories, talk about our challenges (and even get some comical relief from them), can we also put an emphasis on how amazing it is to be tall!? Maybe if we stopped focusing on the problems so much, we would see a change in ourselves and furthermore the way the world stereotypes a tall woman.

It is a gift. It is a blessing. It is amazing. Let's start looking at it as a privilege rather than a problem!

Here are my top 10 tall privileges (in no particular order). Please feel free to add yours...let's keep this list going!

1. WE COMMAND ATTENTION WITHOUT SAYING A WORD.

When we walk into a room, all eyes are on us and we already have an advantage without even speaking. Don't shy away from it, use it. You are the girl that everyone is looking at. Take the spotlight and run with it!

2. TALL IS SEXY.

Just our height in itself is attractive, not to mention all of the other amazing things we are. Embrace your sexy tallness. Everybody loves them some TallSWAG baby!

3. WE CAN REACH THINGS THAT NOBODY CAN.

We are never that person at the supermarket that asks someone to get something off of the top shelf for them. We get what we want, when we want it. OW!

4. THEY SECRETLY WANTS TO BE US.

Those rude stares and comments are just a form of jealousy. They want height, can't have it and thus have to make fun of it. Silly rabbits.

5. WE ALWAYS HAVE THE BEST VIEW IN THE HOUSE.

All we have to do is stand up and BAM...a view that money can't buy!

6. WE CHOOSE TO WEAR HEELS.

We love a fierce heel hunni, but we don't wear them to be taller...we wear them because we can. The height comes naturally for us but we still rock a mean heel because we look fabulous doing it. Watch us werk!

7. PEOPLE CAN'T HELP BUT STARE.

Are some people rude with their staring? Yes. But most people do it because they can't help themselves. This tall is a thing of beauty...stare your heart out!

8. CLOTHES FIT US BETTER.

Our height compliments clothes in an amazing way. Our long legs showcase jeans, shorts and dresses, we can pull off prints and colors with ease and clothes just hang better on a tall frame. Why do you think designers want tall models to walk their garments on the runway?

9. WE DON'T NEED TO WAIT ON ANYONE TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB.

Seriously, we need to see and don't have to wait on anyone to show us the light.

10. WE HAVE A BUILT IN FILTER FOR WEAK MEN.

Many men don't approach a tall woman because they are intimidated. Who wants a weak man? I know I don't. Thank God our height automatically weeds the silly ones out.

Listen. There are a ton of 'rules' that people claim to live by when it comes to style. There are many great suggestions and opinions out there. You can listen to them all but at the end of the day, choose what you want to wear when you want to wear it.

For example it's spring. I was told by many mags to dust the faux leather for florals and neon. While you will see me rocking both of those, on this particular day I was feeling faux so I put it on and rocked it out. Rules shmules.

I also took the opportunity to wear one of my favorite Warriors hats. As you may or may not know, I work for the team but if I didn't, this hat would be in my collection. Trey hot. Side note: Wish we would have gone further in the Playoffs, but I'm proud of my team...looking forward to the next season. #DubNation stand up!

What styles will you be choosing this spring and summer?

On Target

I'm always up for a good find, so when I found this dress at Target for $24.99 I swooped it up faster than you could say "Ooo that's cute!" It hit all of the marks: midi, bodycon (smoothes out the shape), simple cut and statement. The mixture of a perfect dress.

You can't wear a fierce dress without some fierce shoes and these Angelica Lace Up Booties fit the bill. They are one of my recent shoe finds and I basically live in them. You can wear them with jeans, dresses, shorts and the list goes on and on. They add a little spice to any outfit. You will definitely see them in a future post.

The frosting for a dress like this should be super simple. I particularly like these Nicki Minaj earrings. Now, I did not like her clothing line very much but she had some really cute jewelry pieces at really great prices that I rock quite frequently.

What I want you to notice about this outfit is that none of it is technically tall. There are options for us (granted few and far between) in stores right now. Don't be afraid to try things on. Will there be items that won't work? Absolutely. But you won't find the ones that do without sifting through all of it. A diamond in the rough is worth the exploration:)

What stores do you find your diamonds in?
